Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Art This museum was founded in 1972 for the exhibition of modern and present-day arts. It exhibits British landscape paintings such as CONSTABLE’s Dedham Vale, TURNER’s Woman with Tambourine, French paintings also modern arts in Japan and Tochigi such as Sumio KAKWAKAMI’s Breeze of Early Summer, Hoan KOSUGI’s Kintaro, etc. |

Tochigi Prefectural Museum This museum was founded in October 1982, located in the Tochigi Central Park, large park at the center of Utsunomiya city. There are interesting exhibitions such as dioramas of mountains and rivers of Nikko district, indigenous flora and fauna, past lifestyles and cultural heritage of our prefecture. |
