 Japanese Apricot Garden in Dokeiji
The old plum tree 7 meters in height is the 100 age of a tree in the front garden of the
Main hall. Over 300 plum trees in the west side of the main hall bloom in March like mist covers the garden.

 The cherry blossom of Jikouji
The equinoctial cherry blossom is famous for the earliest blooming of Utsunomiya.
The age of the tree is more than 150 years old and the shape covering the cherry blossom is highlight. It is illuminated in the term of the cherry blossom.

The drooping cherry trees about 400 years old bloom in the center of the school playground. A mountain range of a background arouses taste, too.

The age of the tree in Shouunji is about 300 years old. It was planted in the
commemoration of rebuilding ex-main hall. The beauty of the aged blooming tree has
lasted historical time.

 The cherry blossom of Hachimanyama Park
About 700 cherry trees planted in about 210,000 square meters gardens bloom at a time once in April. “Cherry Festival” is full of a large number of flower viewing visitors every year.

 The cherry Blossom Avenue along Shinkawa Channel
The 600 meters long cherry blossom of Shinkawa riverside is crowded with a lot of people. The festival is observed every year.
The blossom illuminated at night is especially beautiful and it attracts many people.

The line of cherry trees on the roadside spread in front of Utsunomiya University department of engineering. The neighbors enjoy cherry blossom in the premises of Utsunomiya University, too.
 
 The cherry trees are in Prefectural General Athletic Park
About 500 Yoshino cherry (Somei Yoshino) trees planted in the general athletic park. The whole park is stained with cerise in the time of a flower. “Cherry tree Festival” is held for approximately 1 week in April.

16km Cherry blossom Avenue’s leading from Utsunomiya to Imaichi.
Beauty of a tunnel of about 1,500 trees following the cryptomeria Avenue of the Nikko Road seems to be totally a dreamland.

 Azaleas of Tsukayama Tumulus
Tsukayama Tumulus is an eminent big old burial mound in a prefecture. It is in a large-sized burial mound with a square front and round back of full length 98 meters. It is almost covered with azaleas. So dyed in the scarlet, that tumulus is bright with 10 several kinds,about 10,000 stocks azaleas, a sigh comes out.

An azalea of 30 several kinds with 2,300 stocks is colorful, are in full of glory. In May, the photo contest of an azalea and professional models are opened every year.

Every June 30 kinds iris of about 3000 stocks bloom in the Aqueous Botanical Garden, It gives visitors their comforts. Look at splendor of the color that nature creates by all means. “Iris Festival” is held during its blooming. At the time free irises are handed out and flowers are on sale.

 The bank road full of blooming cosmos along Tagawa River
Local people love the riverside way. A cosmos grows in colonies and, along Tagawa quenching neighboring rural districts in autumn, blooms in profusion.
 
 The ginkgo row of trees in the Station East Park
The vivid color of ginkgo new leaves is beautiful. Don’t miss to overlook it in late fall stained with beautiful gold.
 
 The Big Ginkgo
The big ginkgo was planted on the sandbag of moat called “Hyakken-Bori” around Utsunomiya castle in 1620. During 400 years the big ginkgo in the center of the city has watched the things happened in Utsunomiya. People call it “Ooichou” with love. It is about 33 m in height, 6 m in thickness.
 
 The ginkgo of Joganji
The huge ginkgo 500 years old is standing in the precincts of Joganji. The view in all its glory is the best of ginkgos in the city.
 
 Akagawa-dam and Mt.Kogashi
Akagawa-dam is a beautiful dame reflecting the shape of Mt. Kogashi in it.
People can enjoy watching the cycle of the season.
 
 Gohonmaru Park
They have a beautiful garden with a fountain-set pond. People can enjoy fresh leaves and autumnal folige.
